Jared, my six year old son, is fascinated with the DestroyIt paper shredder.  While the shredder reduces paper to 3/16″ x 1-1/2″ confetti, Jared tears papers into a dozen pieces before running them through the shredder.  The manual shredding improves document security and allows Jared to run the shredder twelve times for each page to be shredded!
